Boarding central to major things to do in London such as Shrek Adventure and the London Dungeon at the world famous London Eye, you and your canny crew will embark upon the most memorable London river cruise of your life. Get comfy in your custom built Rocket and get ready to rock out and roll on to the river that has shaped 2000 years of horribly hilarious history!
Alongside you every step of the way, our guides will be ensuring laughs aplenty. They love nothing more than to surprise you with the most unusual stories and funniest events ever to take place along the river Thames. You see, as well as being top notch stand-up comics and actors, they are also secret history geeks. In short, they get a kick out of telling you the stories you weren’t taught in school!
Once they’ve filled your head with a bit of light history, it’s time for the main event. Feel the engines roar and hold on to your hair-do’s as we prepare to take off! Feel the g’s as we propel you at 30 knots (35mph!) down the most famous waterway in the world – the river Thames! Twist and turn past Canary Wharf and onto maritime Greenwich. If you require risk assessments or Domestic Safety Management Codes then these are available to view, upon written request. Thames Rocket work closely with the Maritime Accident Investigation Bureau to bring in new safety codes, modes of operation and analyse how the industry can be safely improved to achieve a balance between commercial considerations and reducing risk as low as reasonably practical. Unfortunately this experience is not suitable for expectant mothers at any stage during their pregnancy. The experiences are also not recommended for anybody with a past or current back, neck or heart condition due to the unpredictable nature of the Thames. Please understand Thames Rocket are not medical experts and cannot offer guidance on individual cases, the automatic advice would be if you have concerns please do not participate for your own comfort and welfare.
Disabled Access
It is easy for less mobile customers to travel with us and we aim to include everyone. London RIB Voyages vessels have been designed to make access as straightforward as possible. Each vessel has a boarding platform at the bow, which is the same height as the London Eye pier. There is also a boarding handrail to provide support if required.
